I heard a noise in the kitchen. It turns out the outside flaps of the vent had broken and a bird had gone into the extractor hose of the cooker fan. I had to replace the ripped extractor hose and the external vent flaps thing. There was feathers and bits of bird nest. Hopefully the bird was ok. They're still trying to get in as apparently they like warm places to nest so I may need to fix it again as the outside vent isn't a great fit but I did what I could with what I had.
