Boiler Revamp

Plus 3 more
One rusty boiler box, one tin of paint, and a bit of determination—this project was all about transforming something neglected into something neat, without replacing it entirely.
The exterior of my boiler had seen better days. Years of exposure left it streaked with rust and looking like it was on its last legs. Rather than fork out for a new one, I gave it a full revamp. Here are the steps I took.
- Scrubbed and cleaned the surface
- Treated the rust to stop further damage
- Applied weatherproof boiler paint in a clean, modern finish
- Reassembled everything with care
To tie everything together, I also painted the side gate in the same colour for a cohesive look—photos included. What was once an eyesore is now refreshed, protected, and blends nicely with its surroundings.
All that’s left now is to power wash the ground where the rust had stained the concrete. A simple but satisfying refresh!
