Bringing my 30 year old Merc back to life

Hi there

This is my 30 year old Mercedes W124 coming out of storage and getting a new lease of life after 10 years off the road, a project for myself and teenage son.
With the help of A LOT of WD40 we released the damaged alternator and replaced it, finally getting the car to start. We have replaced the fuel pump and filter and again with WD40’s help we’ve released the drain plug and given her an oil service.
A very rewarding project that we’re genuinely having great fun doing together.
