Old Rusted Jack Plane restoration for school children in Africa

This Project was done for a trade school in Malawi. Me and a friend decided to take a jack plane from a car boot sale and restore it from old to brand new. We made sure the bottom was psanded flat. And we used a mixture of WD40 100 grit sandpaper and a granite slab to make sure we were sanding off a flat surface to get rid of all the rust and leave a square and level face.
