Our Forever Home
We bought an old cottage and we decided to extend it and build up. It took us 13 months from start to finish and we are so happy with the outcome and what all we have achieved.
Step 1: We knocked half the house
We first knocked half the house in order to build our extension. We took the roof off and then built it up.
Step 2: Roof goes on
We got the roof on to the house when we have built up our second story.
Step 3: We built the piers and first light
We built the piers at the road and got power on in the house. We were so excited to see this.
Step 4: Media wall
We put up our media wall. We really enjoy now sitting in our open plan room and
Step 5: The finishing touches
We have our first Christmas this year where we had our tree up. We hung mirrors and put up decorations. We also love our sliding door
Step 6: Complete
We are so so happy of our little project.
