restoration of gy6 150cc buggy

Plus 7 more

Myself and my 4 sons aged 4,8,11 and 15 were gifted this buggy in pieces from their Grandad. We took on the project to rebuild this buggy having never done anything like this before.
It had been dismantled and left outside in the Irish weather for 5 years prior to us receiving it and had not a single wire on it. If you look closely at the video I did you will actually see a can of WD40 in the background which as you can imagine was a life saver in loosening the rusted bolts. We started the project 5 years ago but only finished it last year as we could not afford to purchase the back tyres to actually get it mobile again. we really only had to purchase a buggy wiring loom from the internet and we kind of worked it out as we went along. Attached are screenshots from the build video we put up on youtube https://youtu.be/HTQlSmyenfo?si=PhJUpG8SN9fOkJYT

I truly hope you could consider this for a prize as it taught my boys so much doing this project and we are now on the hunt for another family project to take on.

kindest regards,
