Upcycled Mid century modern sideboard

This was a piece of furniture destined for landfill. The charity shop turned it away as it was too damaged so I was lucky enough to get this piece for free. It had a lot of water damage on the outer shell of the piece so I removed all of the veneer using an iron and som wet towels and a filling knife. Then I primed the outer parts and painted them a dark blue for the front I covered it entirely in masking tape then used a knife to remove areas I wanted to paint. I used a clear primer and then a rainbow of colours to complete the design. To finish the piece I used wd40 to revive the hinges. I also used a teak oil to revive the wood abd it came up good as new. This piece is super unique and makes my home a happier place My instagram is @colourfulsaz
