Vintage blow lamp

I was clearing out my dads shed and came across my grandfathers old blow lamp. I thought initially it was just made of tin or some other metal. Once o started to clean off the years of grime I began to see it was brass. After raking it all apart and began by soaking it in a mix of flour, vinegar and salt. Then I washed it off and began to polish it using a cheap polishing mop for my bench top pillar drill. I then reassembled it and now have it pride of place in my shed.
